Keeping our homeless neighbors warm is a serious issue this time of year.
Depending on your area, both warmth and cold can impact their well being.
In warm climates, rain and dampness need to be managed. A raincoat can be made from a plastic leaf bag. In colder climates that same leaf bag can block the wind. Since most groups put a simple health kit containing a change of underwear and other small toiletries together and slip it into the sleeping bag, a plastic leaf bag could be beneficial as a drop cloth or a wet weather coat.
