The Sleeping Bag Project

Saturday, September 17th is our Annual “Thank You” Picnic at Flo and Jim Wheatley’s home in Hop Bottom, PA.

We hope that you can join us for a lovely afternoon of great food and wonderful company. Volunteers from all over the area will be there. Meet old friends and make new ones. Network with those from other groups.

Bring your favorite dish to share and a friend or two.

If you need any supplies such as material, blankets or health kits we will gladly help you with that. Donations have been coming in over the summer.

We hope to see you at the Picnic.

Have you seen the movie “August Rush”?

It’s a story about a boy living in an orphanage, that knew

who his parents had to be, because of the strong

sense of music that filled his being. If you can, please watch his amazing

story.

Mentors are very important in our lives. We may not

realize who they are, or even if they are good or bad, until one day we glance

over our shoulder and see the path we’ve traveled.
